Development XI host North Wales at Stafford

Staffordshire County Cricket Club all-rounder Scott Winnington is in the Development XI side to take on North Wales.

Staffordshire Development XI are back in action on Tuesday when they entertain North Wales at Stafford.

Staffs have made one change to the side which defeated Cumbria at Bignall End last week.

Spinner Anis Raza is unavailable and has been replaced by fellow slow left-armer Matthew Turner.

Turner is part of the Staffordshire pathway and has featured for the under-18s. He plays his club cricket for Stafford.

Matthew Morris captains the side once again, which has plenty of NCCA experience.

Sam Atkinson, Callum Hawkins, Callum Leese, Tom Moulton and Scott Winnington have all appeared for Staffordshire’s first team.

Tuesday’s match is a 50-over per side contest. Play starts at 11am.

Admission is free and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
