Dave was a key member of the Staffordshire team which won four Championship titles and two one-day trophies in the 1990s.
He was appointed to lead the county’s coaching team in 2013. He sampled success the following season when Staffs beat Wiltshire in the overall Championship final at Wiltshire.
A Knockout Trophy final appearance followed in 2016 before Cartledge masterminded an Eastern Division triumph in 2019.
