Staffordshire County Cricket Club have confirmed the venues for their two pre-season friendlies.
Staffs will host Wales on Saturday, April 8 and then take on a North Staffs and South Cheshire League representative side on Sunday, April 9.
Both days will see two Twenty20 matches take place.
The Wales matches are being staged at Burslem, while the fixtures against the NSSCL will be hosted by Caverswall. The first games on both days start at 11am.
The weekend double header is the final chance for Staffordshire to prepare for their National Counties Cricket Association programme.
They kick off their competitive season with two T20 matches against Cumbria at Moddershall & Oulton on Sunday, April 16.
Last season, Staffs produced their best-ever performances in the T20 game, despite just missing out on qualification for finals day.
Staffordshire have seen a number of changes to their playing and backroom staff over the winter.
Andy Carr has been appointed as head coach, working alongside director of cricket Dave Cartledge, while former Bedfordshire batsman James Kettleborough has signed for Staffs and will skipper the county.
Meanwhile, spinner Tom Brett has joined from Beds, and seamer Liam Hurt – released by Lancashire at the end of last season – have been registered.
Staffordshire will continue to spread their home matches around the county in the 2023 season. On Wednesday, June 7, the development side will take on Cumbria at Bignall End in a 50-over per side clash.
Stafford will also host a county match this summer as the senior development side play Wales on Tuesday, June 13. That encounter is a 50-over match.
And Staffs are also travelling to the east of the county for a match at Burton-based Trentside Cricket Club.
Trentside will stage the under-21 match against Leicestershire on Tuesday, August 22.
