Staffordshire have confirmed two pre-season friendlies as they prepare for the 2024 National Counties Cricket Association campaign.
Staffs head to Caverswall on Sunday, April 14 to play a North Staffs and South Cheshire League XI in two Twenty20 matches.
The day will be particularly poignant as all monies raised will be donated to a charity of Caverswall’s choice in memory of their former secretary Rob Bown.
All spectators are welcome to attend, with refreshments available throughout the day. The first game starts at 11am.
Staffordshire’s second pre-season date sees them travel to take on Shropshire.
They head to Whitchurch on Sunday, April 21 to play two Twenty20 encounters. Once again, the first game starts at 11am.
Staffordshire, who are the reigning NCCA T20 Cup holders, start their title defence on Sunday, April 28.
Cheshire are the visitors to Knypersley for the season’s curtain raiser.
