Double test for Staffordshire Development XI

Staffordshire County Cricket Club all-rounder Reeve Evitts

Staffordshire Development XI face a double header this week as they continue their campaign.

Staffs entertain Herefordshire at Milford Hall tomorrow (Wednesday) before making the trip to Bromsgrove School to play Worcestershire on Thursday.

Both matches will be 50-over per side, red-ball matches. Both start at 11am.

Staffordshire will be led by Meakins skipper Jack Hammond in the twin encounters.

There is a smattering of players who have featured on the NCCA scene for the senior side.

And there are also plenty of youngsters who will be looking to impress head coach Andy Carr.
