New long-term partnership agreed with Denstone College

Staffordshire County Cricket Club and Staffordshire Cricket agree sponsorship deal with Denstone College.

Staffordshire County Cricket Club and Staffordshire Cricket are delighted to announce Denstone College as their sponsorship partner.

The partnership will see the college as a shirt-sleeve sponsor for all junior county age group teams, the learning and physical disability team, the visually impaired team as well as the development and senior men’s and women’s teams for a four-year term starting in the 2024 season.

Development director for Staffordshire Cricket, Jason Britton, said: “This partnership is the first of its kind for our county.

“Denstone College has been a host venue for many county fixtures and training sessions for both junior and senior cricket. We are pleased to expand our relationship with them across our pathway.

“The county board and club are working more closely together both on and off the field. And the partnership with Denstone is a great example of that collaboration.”

Paul Borrington, director of cricket at Denstone College which is based near Rocester and part of the Woodard Corporation, is pleased with the partnership agreement.

He commented; “It is fantastic that Denstone will be continuing to support Staffordshire cricket over the next four years.

“We look forward to playing a key role in the development of all Staffordshire cricketers.”
