Jacob made his first Staffordshire appearance in the NCCA Championship game against Bedfordshire in 2024.
The 19-year-old Moddershall & Oulton seamer has performed impressively in North Staffs and South Cheshire League Premier A since his winter move from Longton.
Garlick, who is also part of the Warwickshire set-up, bowled impressively on his Staffordshire debut.
And he will be looking to build on that performance as the season unfolds.
