Nils, aged 23, made his debut for Staffordshire in the 2022 season.
He played four List A matches for Derbyshire after emerging through their academy system – and last summer excelled for Staffordshire with some memorable performances.
Nils scored a superb century on T20 Cup finals day to help Staffs to beat Berkshire on their way to lifting the trophy.
He is also a useful left-arm spinner.
