Rory, who plays his club cricket for Leek after rejoining following a spell at Birmingham League side Kenilworth Wardens, was a fine performer during some miserly spells with the ball – and weighing in with his fair share of wickets along the way.
The 21-year-old has started the 2024 season in impressive fashion.
Rory took his maiden five-wicket haul for the county in the NCCA Championship Division One East game against Bedfordshire at Checkley.
He claimed 6-22 in Bedfordshire’s first innings, but the weather meant the match ended in a draw.
