Staffordshire to play Berkshire on NCCA Twenty20 Cup finals day

Staffordshire will play Berkshire at NCCA Twenty20 Cup finals day.

Staffordshire have been drawn to play against Berkshire on National Counties Cricket Association Twenty20 Cup finals day.

Staffs have reached the showpiece for the first time and will take on Berkshire, previous winners of the competition, in the opening semi-final at Tring Park on Sunday, May 21 (10am).

In the other last-four tie, Hertfordshire, who have also won the T20 title before, take on Cornwall (1.30pm).

The two victors will then contest the final at 4.30pm.

Staffordshire booked their place at finals day by topping Group One after Cumbria and Northumberland failed to achieve the required results in Sunday’s final round of matches.

‘Table toppers’

Cornwall beat Devon twice on Sunday to jump to the top of Group Two. Hertfordshire and Berkshire won Groups Three and Four respectively.

Tickets for finals day are price at £9.50 if purchased in advance or £12.50 on the day. Children under-16 are admitted for free.

Gates will open at 9am and there is free onsite parking. Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
