Staffordshire’s friendlies against Shropshire have been called off.
Staffs were due to head to Whitchurch on Sunday, April 21 for two Twenty20 clashes to fine-tune their preparations.
However, the bad weather means that the ground is unfit for play.
Staffordshire had already seen last weekend’s games against the North Staffs and South Cheshire League XI shelved because of the weather.
Staffs are due to start their National Counties Cricket Association T20 campaign on Sunday, April 28.
Cheshire are the visitors to Knypersley as Staffs look to make a flying start to their cup defence.
