The National Counties Cricket Association team will host their first-class opponents this summer.
Staffordshire County Cricket have confirmed that their ‘Showcase Game’ against Leicestershire will be played this summer.
The 50-over per side match was initially added to the programme in 2020 as part of a restructure of minor counties cricket, which saw the competition renamed the National Counties Cricket Association.
All 20 teams were given the chance to take on a first-class county every year until the summer of 2024.
However, Staffordshire’s fixtures in 2020 and 2021 were cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
