Away venues confirmed for 2025 NCCA season

Staffordshire players have been working hard ahead of the 2025 NCCA season.

Staffordshire can now announce the venues for their away fixtures in the 2025 National Counties Cricket Association season.

Staffs will venture to a number of new grounds across all three formats this summer.

The first block of fixtures of the campaign, the Knockout Trophy, sees a couple of new venues for Staffordshire.

They head to Shifnal on May 11 to play Shropshire, with a long trek to East Anglia to play Norfolk at Sprowston seven days’ later.

In the Twenty20 Cup, Staffordshire’s away clash at Northumberland will be hosted by Allendale Cricket Club, near Hexham.

The away double header against Cheshire on June 15 takes place at Nantwich.

The Championship format sees Copdock and Old Ipswichians stage the three-day match between Suffolk and Staffs in August.

And later that month, Staffordshire will travel to Peterborough for the first time to play Cambridgeshire.

All of the venues for the home matches had been announced by Staffordshire before Christmas.

‘Hard at work’

Preparations are in full swing from a playing perspective ahead of the 2025 action.

The playing squad complete some training sessions ahead of a Christmas break and resume their preparations later this month.
